Duties and Responsibilities
-The candidate must have minimum knowledge in Electrical Field, Different types of cables and different types of joints.
-A minimum of 5 years experiences in 11 k V Cable Joint and cable terminations is a must.
-The candidate must have previous work certificates and client approvals from earlier projects.
-The applicant must have good awareness of tools, safety requirements and knowledge of accessories as per the packing list.
-The Jointer shall verify the safe working area and obtain the hot work permit from concerned departments.
-The candidate must have the knowledge about the crimping tool and knowledge of using correct size of dies and hydraulic pressure to do the job.
-Knowledge to remove the semiconductor by stripping and scrolling tools.
-The candidate shall have good knowledge how to remove the each crossection as per correct dimension, cleaning of surface, application of yellow void filling tape and then stress control tube.
-The candidate have to know how to connect copper brading, Steel armor and Lead armor.
-Knowledge of using correct type of Heating torch and the flame. (shall be yellow flame with blue tip)
-Shall know the procedure to crimp the ferrules. (shall be from centre to ends).
-Candidate have the awareness of right method for tube shrinking.(shall be from centre to ends.)
-Knowledge in tests to be conducted prior and after the joints.
