Job Description


– Manage and actively participate in and contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle.


– Work closely with the Business Users, line management, and IT groups throughout the various phases of the project.


– Apply project management methodologies including project plans, risk mitigation, issue tracking and communication plans.


– Prepare and maintain all project related status reports, chair project meetings, engage with various teams and groups, as necessary, and manage all issues and risks through to resolution.


– Establish strong working relationships and build partnerships with the stakeholders including line management and IT teams.


– Work with the team to undertake and deliver the following;


Take ownership of the business analysis.


Investigate and specify the information that is used by Risk, the business processes the functions support and documenting use test cases in conjunction with source systems teams.


Perform all levels of analysis on new and existing System Architecture.


Participate in functional testing.


Ensure an effective project team that contributes to the overall delivery whilst maintaining focus on the primary objectives.


Ensure that on an on-going basis the team is upbreast with knowledge on risking methodologies, system infrastructure and capabilities and interdependencies in the Bank.


Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Desired Profile- Minimum 12-18 years of work experience with at least 3 years at a senior managerial level of leading large teams across multiple processes.


Education:


– Graduate in any discipline, Preferably a B.Tech/B.E./ B.Sc/MBA/ PGDBM from a reputed Institute.


Person Specification:


Understanding of various delivery methodologies including Agile.


– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


– Strong attention to detail / accuracy and timeliness of delivery


– Stakeholder management and extensive Mentoring skills


– Strong team player with a track record of delivery


– Experienced in influencing Senior Management to gain buy in for decision making


– Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills


– Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player who is able to interact across all levels of the firm


– Focused on delivery of both strategic and tactical solutions for the business


– Committed to the delivery of high quality project work


– Data warehouse experience and analysis skills (Excel/Access/VBA/SQL)


– Experience of working on strategic initiatives within a banking environment


– Strong risk knowledge, specifically a deep understanding of Market Risk Processes / VaR methodology, capital calculations etc .


– End to end project life-cycle experience e.g. defining requirements, build support, testing, impact assessment and user training
