The Finance Control & Oversight function plays a key role in supporting management at Organization in the
identification, assessment, management and monitoring of Operational Risk
Position specifications
Division : Finance
Qualification : CA / MBA / M. Com
Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:
Quality Assurance for the accounts substantiated in Accounts Verification tool
Ensure adherence to the relevant policies and developing key Risk Indicators for senior management
Liaising with various teams within Finance/Operations/Settlement/ MO and valuations.
Ensuring compliance of norms issued by statutory regulatory authority.
In addition to the above Core areas C&O also delivers the below:
Drive or contribute to the design and implementation of control and oversight processes
Supply subject matter expertise to change initiatives
Provide assurance on the operational effectiveness of controls
Key Skills:
Good communication skills
Self starter, quick learner
Strong analytical skills and complete understanding of Financial statements and substantiation around it
Systems skills:
Good understanding required of relevant Front Office, Back Office systems and their interaction
Advanced Excel, basic Access and familiar with working of Macros
Knowledge of Products:
Basic understanding of all products under their responsibility.
Ability to train other members on products / Reports
Personal Skills:
Ability to work to tight daily and monthly deadlines.
Ability to liaise and interact effectively with other departments such as Operations/ Middle office/
Settlement
Highly driven and motivated individual who challenges existing processes with a view to improvement
