    1. KEY PURPOSE:
    Using standard pricing tools, models and processes to prepare and present support/services pricing to the sales and presales teams to allow a commercial offer to be presented to a customer.


    KEY COMPETENCIES (SFIA) :
    • Autonomy – Perform day- to-day activities under routine and continuous supervision with minor discretion in resolving problems or enquiries without frequent reference to others.
    • Influence – Ensure regular interaction with immediate colleagues and may positively influence immediate colleagues, customers and suppliers to offer a better service.
    • Ensure more influence is on own domain including off-shore and on-shore team with respect to designing ongoing and continuous improvement to the pricing tools, cost & pricing models.

    • Business skills: Demonstrate ability to understand and use of appropriate methods, tools and applications having rational and organised approach to work.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • To respond to and manage all pricing requests within an internal Operational Level Agreement (OLA) for the following elements:
    • Cisco & Avaya and approx 25 more third party Support pricing
    • Break-Fix Services, Managed Services, Monitoring services
    • Move’s adds and changes
    • Solution upgrades and Service take on
    • Populate the internal database and relevant systems with progress updates on pricing quotes
    • Working closely with the Manager for Support Services to confirm compliance with all processes and to assist in the maintenance of all tools and pricing models
    • Liaise with the sales and Pre-sales communities regularly as required to verify and calculate the support elements from 3rd party suppliers
    • Collate configuration files, serial numbers or kit lists for customer support quotes.
    • Assist with creation of pricing for adds, moves and changes to existing contracts
    • A key part of the role will be to work with vendors, partners and suppliers across the globe that will regularly form part of our pricing structure as part of a commercial support offer. Continue to develop a network of partners who can provide services in country on a back to back contract or ad hoc basis.
    • Assist with RFP’s/Tenders to provide not only pricing and support offers but also to help put together specific responses in relation to vendor and partner access.
    • Ad-hoc margin analysis of proposals and secured contracts, as well as working with the billing and service assumption teams to ensure all contracts are correct and profitable.
    • Reporting into the on-shore team the progress & updates related to each pricing request on a daily basis.
    QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
    • Qualifications: Engineering/Commerce graduate and/or MCA/ MBA – IT, Bachelor degree (B.SC – IT, BCS, BCA, B.Com)
    • Experience: 5 – 9 Years of experience.
    • Professional skills: Excellent commercial acumen, ability to explain complex scenarios in a clear concise manner, Proficient MS-Excel skills, Excellent attention to detail, Ability to maintain organized work approach at all times.
    • Essentials:
    • Excellent understanding of Cisco technology, hardware and software elements combined.
    • Command of knowledge over historic hardware & software capabilities and offerings.
    • Able to develop an understanding of commercial offers in relation to our competitors.
