Job Description Serves as Manager and provides daily oversight of several settlement processing teams. Ensures teams assigned have proper operating procedures and review changes in operations to mitigate risk and losses. Serves as a subject matter expert on various working groups and committees focused on changing / enhancing process flows within the organization. Focus of job is to research and resolve the most complex problems. Provides training and guidance to Senior Associate. Interacts with all levels of management and provides coverage to other North America Securities Services Operations Managers as needed.
Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of day-to-day operations of multiple settlement teams assigned.
Ensure that department operating procedures are adhered/enforced by Senior Associate.
Ensure Senior Associate is performing audit reviews for reconcilement processes.
Represents Securities Services through participation on both corporate-wide and industry initiatives.
Act as a leader in identifying trends and inefficiencies in current processes and make recommendations for improvements.
Support all phases of the Performance Planning & Review culture for team.
Collaborate with other Managers on unit or departmental projects.
Analyzes the Depository Settlement units business continuity preparedness and recommend improvement where necessary.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a business discipline preferred or equivalent work and manager experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, project management and client service skills.
Experienced leader in providing development both informal and formal to Team Leaders.
Experienced with the business and technical aspects of more than one Settlement Unit.
Strong PC skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
