Software Developer (Core Java)

One vacancy to be placed in Pune, India

Roles and Responsibilities:

Work as part of a Design and Development team to deliver software/solutions for wireless telecom industry.

Provide technical leadership to the Development team.

Interact closely with Product Line Management and System Architects.

Work with project managers to provide software development effort estimates.

Design, develop, test and document software.

Support and maintain flagship products.

Support and maintain Redknee’s Signaling products.

Technical Skills:

3-6 years of hands-on Telecom industry experience working with Core Java on Unix platforms.

Good knowledge of Inter-process technologies like Corba, RMI, Soap etc.

Excellent Requirement analysis and Design skills.

Experience in developing optimized, high performance and high availability systems.

Experienced in developing multi-threaded and distributed applications.

Solid understanding of threading, garbage collection, performance optimization and memory management.

Excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills with prior experience to solving critical issues at code level.

Soft Skills:

Detail oriented good analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills, written and oral

Highly motivated, goal-oriented and well-organized – “to win” orientation

Exemplary team-player

Education and qualifications:

Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Engineering/Science
