Summary:

The QA Automation Engineer role is responsible for the design, creation and execution of automated regression test packages using scripts, high level languages and automation test tools for both existing systems and newly implemented projects.

In addition, the QA Automation Engineer will:

• This is individual contributor role and candidate should be hands on in selenium automation, web applications testing.
• Design, create and execute concurrency and regression test suites for new projects as well as existing systems

• Maintain good communication and working relationships with clients and co-workers

• Maintain and create automation test/validation related metrics across projects and report performance to management

• Support team members and ensure established goals and deadlines are met

• Work with the project teams in the design and creation of test automation plans

• Develop automation libraries to expedite testing

• Develop, maintain and evolve the test automation framework using technologies such as JUnit, TestNG, Spock, Cucumber, Selenium Webdriver, etc.

• Analyze, review and summarize results from automated tests, reporting anomalies into defect tracking database

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in all phases of testing with a heavy focus on automation

• Proficiency in web based application testing

• An understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, especially with Agile/SCRUM model

• Highly skilled in at least 2 test automation tools (including, but not limited to Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, Soap, UI, WebDriver, Protractor, QTP)

• Excellent communication skills

• Skills with web services

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Understanding and experience with platform and operating system architecture

• Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Selenium, SQL, JUnit and latest cloud technologies
