JOB DESCRIPTION
• Job title: Medical Coder
• Division/Department: CRP
• Reports to: TL / STL / GTL
• Experience: Fresher to Coding
• Work Time: Full-time
• Travelling Onsite / Offsite: No
• Working in shifts: Currently General Day Shift.
• Location – Bombay, Andheri – Chakala
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Meet the production targets
• Quality parameters as defined by the Client SLA
• Consistently good scores in last 3 months as per the set pass percentage.
• Should be flexible to step-up as per the business requirement. Punctuality, Time (MHS) and Attendance
• Strives to provide ideas to constantly improve the organization
• Ensure adherence to external and internal quality and security standards (HIPPA/ISO/ISMS)
• Be a team player
• Based on the opportunity provided must get exposed to more than one account
• AAPC / AHIMA certification – value add (optional)
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Experience in any coding specialty is preferred
• Strong knowledge in Anatomy & Physiology
• Risk Adjustment Coding experience is an added advantage
• Clinical knowledge is an added advantage
• Certification in CPC or CCS is preferred
• Strong knowledge with ICD 9 & CPT codes
• Any life science UG / PG& Para medical (Nurses)
