The main duties of the positions include but are not limited to:Perform data collection and exposure analyses of residential portfolios for windstorm, storm surge and flood risks. Perform catastrophe loss modeling of exposures. Prepare detailed catastrophe accumulation and data quality reports.Develop and utilize existing data mining tools to monitor data quality and exposure changes.Develop additional analytical tools for flood modeling

The ideal candidate would possess the following skill set:

Strong quantitative ability with skill in manipulating and interpreting large quantities of data.

Ability to effectively summarize and communicate analysis results with accuracy and attention to detail.

Desire to work in a team environment and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Strong skills in database and spreadsheet programs SQL, Access, Excel)

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with catastrophe modeling fundamentals a big plus.
