Job Description
Develop and lead a team of design evaluation engineers
Working closely with Design, Test, Applications and Marketing Engineers to understand and overcome problems and work towards product release
Develop HW and SW measurement system to evaluate and characterize the silicon
Hands-on debug of new products to quickly evaluate functionality and identify bugs
Carry bench-top performance measurements and robustness tests
Analyze Data and Generate reports
Identify the requirement of Lab equipment and procure them
Work with external vendor to get work done by contract engineers
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Analogue and Digital Electronics with degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
2+ years of experience in team management and leadership role
5+ years of experience in bench-top design evaluation of precision Analog Signal processing (Data Converters, Amplifiers, references) products.
Hands on experience with bench top measurement equipment
PCB Layout / Design Experience
Knowledge of Labview
Experience to develop a Lab would be an advantage.
Experience in mixed signal precision ASSP product with embedded micro-controller would be an advantage.
Experience in ESD / Latchup, EMC testing and other robustness test would be an advantage
Strong communication and presentation skills
The ability to work well in a team environment and share knowledge
Self-motivated, Responsible, and show initiative and solving challenging technical problems:
-The candidate should be familiar with some form of testing related to Bluetooth type products, this will be add on experience and will be a desirable feature.
-The candidate should also understand commonly used RF terminology like Gain, NF, IIP3, IIP2, LO phase noise, I/Q mismatch, DC offset, etc because they have to develop Labview scripts and also be able to test them.
-The candidate should have familiarity of working with Spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and other RF equipment from NI and Rhode and Schwarz
