Consultancy Services for Authority’s Engineer for supervision of project of Four /Six Laning of Raipur –Simga section (from Km 0.000 to Km. 48.580) of Raipur-Bilaspur stretch of NH-200 in the State of Chhattisgarh under NHDP phase-IV.
DUTIES :
He will providenecessaryguidance to the Quantity Surveyor, and shall issue
directions/procedures/formats of reporting to the QuantitySurveyor. He will act as a contract specialist
also for the construction package, even though thethrust ofhisresponsibilities will be in the areas of
quantity surveying/processing of the invoices etc. He will beresponsible fortaking all measures
required to control the project cost and time over-runs. He will examine the claims of the
contractor, variation orders, if any, and will approved the progress reports as per the project
requirements. He willapprove the measurement of all items of works executed in different stages for
paymentpurpose prepared byQuantity Surveyor.He should have the following qualification/
experience.”
(b)Total Professional Experience of 15 years in handling Highway Contracts.
(c) At least 10years experience as Quantity Surveyor in Highway project.
(d) Heshouldhavehandledas Quantity Surveyorinatleast two projects in Construction Supervision of
Two/fourlaningof Highways.
(e) Not more than 65 years of age.”
