General Responsibilities:
1. Must have hands on maintenance experience on following Electrical Equipment’s
• 22 KV Siemens Make Gas Insulated Metal enclosed MV Switch Gear (SF Insulated OEM Model No: 8DA)
• Oil Filled Transformers (Federal Switch Gear Ltd UAE – Make)
• Knowledge on Protection System including Relay Settings, Co – Ordination etc.
• Thorough knowledge on HV System Operational Requirement
• Candidates who have worked in field services division of OEM Preferable.
• Must be Conversant in Preparation of Standard Operating Procedure.
2. Execute all internal & external electrical works of Airport facility.
3. Responsible for performing electrical systems and equipment assessments facilities, preparing condition assessment reports, including system narrative descriptions and deficiency cost estimates
4. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
5. Contribute to the improvement of the Organization’s services to its customers
6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
7. Maintain the Healthy and safe working environment.
8. Other duties as may be specified by or through Airport Facility O&M Manager.
9. Excellent Trouble Shooting Skills.
10. Must have CEP Certificate from ADDC.
11. Must have knowledge on 22/11kv HT Cable Joining Procedures / Testing
Specific Duties:
1. Practices management and supervision, including techniques of personnel administration. Maintains a variety of power and hand tools. Execute all internal & external electrical work of Airport Facility.
2. Conduct onsite inspections of electrical equipment and systems as well as review electrical design drawings, electrical equipment specifications, calculations, and documents for both small and large assessment projects. Assisting in preparing client presentations and proposal responses.
3. To schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work of the Airport, facilities and equipment’s (switch gear and protective systems 22 KV, standby generators, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems, motor controls, general installations, fire alarms and to perform the complex skilled maintenance and repair work related to electrical maintenance.
4. Planning and execution of preventive routine and breakdown maintenance.
5. Preparing the managerial review of expense control and reduction.
6. Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
7. Preventive maintenance and rectification works of all related motors and DG Sets.
8. Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines and emergency solutions.
9. Through in documentation, departmental training and co-ordination.
10. To assess the existing electrical equipment and systems for safety, condition, age, capacity and design compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
11. Follow safety regulations and advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
12. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
13. Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment’s.

3. Must be physically fit, in good health and capable of manual work.
4. Should have a keen sense of diagnosing faults on electrical equipment’s.
