Qualification & Experiencei) a) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research papers. b) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. c) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching learning process. d) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) OR ii) An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Qualification & Experience i) Good academic record as defined by the University with a Ph.D. degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline. ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology- mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. v) A minimum score (300 points from Category-III of APIs) as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as per UGC regulations.

Age Limit Min. 45 yrs., Deputation- Upto max. of 56 yrs.
Qualification i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks at Master’s Degree level in relevant subject or an equivalent degree. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers. iii) NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for Masters Programmes in such disciplines also for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
Application Fee
i) Applicants should required to deposit the fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) for the post of Professor [Rs.500/- for SC/ST/BC], Rs.800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred) for the post of Associate Professor [Rs.400/- for SC/ST/BC] and Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) for the post of Assistant Professor [Rs.250/- for SC/ST/BC] by cash at the University Cash Counter.
ii) Applicants may also deposit the fee through Bank Draft in favour of the University of Gour Banga payable at Malda.
