The SAP Technology Architect supports the comprehensive high level architecture, functionality, economics and architecture compliance of SAP solution options for the Technology area. This position works closely with the SAP Solution Architect, SAP Instance Owners, SAP Applications Managers for FIN, OPS and Commercial, Enterprise Process Management, Enterprise Architecture and key stakeholders to determine requirements for solution planning and development. This position develops solution architecture at an enterprise and project level in collaboration with other SAP Solution architects, Solution Integrity teams and subject matter experts from the Global IT business units for solutions.
The SAP Technology Architect understands both technical and functional design and brings perspective from all architecture domains (process, application information, data and security) into the technical design. Utilizing a strong expertise in technology and standard SAP applications that support these processes, this position ensures solutions developed are aligned to SAP Solution Architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits).
This is an IC role.

Business Continuity Planning
• 10+ years experience with diverse operational, development and technology roles
• 5+ years architecture experience with infrastructure, enterprise, or solution design, preferably in a SAP solutions delivery role focussing on SAP BASIS and HANA.
• Experience leading technology or deployment projects
• Working knowledge with SAP in one or more of the following: cloud, server, storage, database, network, security, virtualization, monitoring.
• Experience and knowledge in SAP operational excellence and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with Solution Design and Deployment teams to define business requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals
• Experience in developing integrated solutions involving process, data, and technology
