JOB SUMMARY:
The individual would be primarily involved in the pricing of Weather Insurance and Crop Insurance products and quote for different State Government tenders or Corporate clients.
Role:
1. Risk assessment and Preparation of WBCIS (Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme)products
2. Designing products as per the business strategy of management and customer requirement.
3. Coordinating with the sales team, claims team and vendors for successful implementation of the insurance policies being handled
4. Coordinating with IT, compliance, legal and actuarial functions
5. Tracking competition trends and managing pricing audits
6. Involved in Portfolio Management and PML analysis
7. Attending meetings with State Government officials, vendors, etc.
8. Maintaining and publishing various MIS reports
1. Educational Requirements: Full time MBA/PGDM professional in Agriculture Business / Rural.
2. Experience: 3 – 7 years in Agro / Rural / Dairy / Farming / Insurance business, prior understanding of these sector and preferably would have worked in the same.
3. Understanding of agriculture sector and Insurance industry would be an added advantage.
4. Skill sets: Proficient in MS – Excel. Knowledge on Macros
