1. Drive the IT Technology plan by taking ownership of mid to long-term roadmap.
2. Design the Enterprise Architecture solutions/provide expert support by closely working with different teams.
3. Provide Data Center Designs and work on Data Center / Infra migration activities.
4. Provide IT Operational Support for problem management and bring in expert knowledge if required.
5. Building COEs and solutions on Cloud Platform / services to new and as well as existing clients.
6. Participate in Proof of Concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
7. Design, Build, implementation, & requirement analysis for Data Centers / Cloud Computing / Cloud / End User Platforms.
8. Architect, Build, implement, test and benchmark the enterprise ready cloud offerings (IaaS).
9. Finding opportunities and mining engagements liaising with pre-sales, vendors and various other internal teams to ensure highest levels of services are delivered to our end users.
10. Conducts end-to-end technical plan design.
11. Develops long-terms strategy for historical data retention and archival plans for storage needs including backup.
12. Defines data retention policy and backup/recovery methods.
13. Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions.
Required Experience:
1. 10 to 14 years of experience in a Production IT environment architecting and managing enterprise IT infrastructure in the areas of hardware, hosting services and network.
2. Strong knowledge in few of the Virtualization and Cloud Technologies like VMWare, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, AWS etc.
3. Must have a strong knowledge of the Operating System (Windows or Linux), Domain, Active Directory and its concepts, interaction between Hardware, OS, Network, Storage and Application Software.
4. Deep understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other networking services.
