The Opportunity
We are searching for talented and motivated Senior Software Development Engineers to join our fast-paced Customer Success Team working on the XenMobile product. XenMobile delivers complete Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) mobile device management, mobile application management and enterprise-grade productivity apps in one comprehensive solution. XenMobile enhances the user experience on BYO or corporate devices without compromising security. The Senior Software Development Engineer will work with the majority of the components of the XenMobile product and solution, but will focus on the XenMobile Server. XenMobile server can be managed on premise in the enterprise or in the Cloud Services. The teams focus is on improving the product quality, and ensuring Customer Success.
Job Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and development of mobile applications and server side components in a fast paced team
Debug and solve customer issues and integrate into product code base
Perform code reviews
Implement unit tests to verify the functionality, accuracy and efficiency of software
Communicate technical issues; assist with technical specification documentation and review
Implement and maintain quality improvements to processes and products
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
6+ years of software development experience, preferably in the mobile space working with a Client / Server architecture
Experience with following languages: Java
Experience with Spring, Hibernate, JMS, Test NG and Junit
Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience designing/implementing high performance Web services using SOAP/REST
Excellent programming discipline including Object Oriented Programming, unit testing and code organization
Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications and architectures
Demonstrate analytic and problem-solving skills, particularly as it relates to application design, development and infrastructure
Strong understanding of
