- Build and enhance our Grails based backend for supporting our Mobile Application.
- Design and implement high quality REST APIs for mobile consumption.
- Implement NOSQL database related work.
- Active participant in high level technical discussions.
- Enhance, Design and build highly scalable backend modules.
- Write and execute test cases for all functions.
- Report, track and fix defects.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Highly conversant in technology and technical terms.
- Understanding of business needs and ensuring that delivered solutions meet the defined
- quality parameters.
- Should have worked in Agile model of development.
Qualifications:
- Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or
- a related field, or having strong related work experience with 3+ years of experience in building
- highly scalable Grails/Spring/J2EE based backend.
- Should have implemented multitiered,
- highly available and secure applications.
- Should have a good understanding of when to use NoSQL technologies and how to design
- business entities in the same.
- Should follow adhered good coding practices and should not shy away from writing good
- documentation around code and having elaborate test cases covering the written code.
- Should have knowledge of Services Oriented architecture with a focus on building webservices.
