Experience:- G.N.M OR B.Sc Nursing with 1 to 5 years of experience in CATH LAB shall only apply & State Nursing Council registration is mandatory.
Job Location:- Gandhinagar, Gujarat
– Assesses plans and implement total patient care.
– Apply scientific principles in giving patient care.
– Utilize available resources in giving patient care.
– Include the patient and family in the planning of care.
– Evaluate her performance in relation to effectiveness of care provided.
– Maintain appropriate patient care records.
– Recognize legal implications in nursing practice and follows the policies of the nursing service department.
– Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for her patient.
– Maintain a high standard of nursing care and practice.
– Thinks and acts promptly in emergency situations.
– Give health teaching to the patients and family members.
– Prepares patients for CAG. Angioplasty and various other procedures done in Cath lab.
– Maintain aseptic technique and universal precaution all the time.
– Assist physician for various procedure done in Cath lab.
– Uses Crash cart in emergency.
– Administers medication as required.
– Monitors vital signs before during and after procedure.
– Assist in sheath removal.
– Assist patients in all daily leaving activities.
– Observes for post Cath complication and informs abnormalities to physician.
– Obtains ECG and reports to physician.
– Have basic knowledge about common diagnostic procedure done for cardiac patient.
– Obtain ABG blood sample and interpret ABG values.
– Assist in insertion of CVP line, monitors and maintains CVP line.
– Assist in defibrillation and Cardivertion
– Responsible to carry out – Critical Value Protocol
