- Senior Research Fellow Horticulture Job vacancies in Central Island Agricultural Research Institute
- Project Name : Collection, Cataloguing , Conservation and Utilization of native Ornamental Plant Biodiversity of Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands
- Educational Qualification : Candidates Should have Passed Ph.D in Horticulture/Agricultural / Botany / Life Science Or Graduates with three years Bachelor’s degree, who have acquired professional Master degree (0.3 years) like M.Sc (Agriculture) Or Masters degree in Basic Science such as Horticulture / Agricultural/ Botany/ Life Science and have qualified NET and have 02 years research experience.
- Desirable : Minimum one year working experience 1 the relevant field of specialization in reputed organization/ Institute and working knowledge in computer and handling statistical software
- No. of Post : 02
- Pay Scale : Rs. 25,000/- Per month + 20% HRA for 1st & 2nd Year Rs. 28,000/- Per Month + 20% HRA for 3rd year
- Age Limit : 18-35 Years for Men & 18-40 Years for women
Selection Procedure:
- Written Test on 22/06/2016.
- Shortlisted candidates will undertake face to face interview.
- Dates are yet to be announced for the final selection
Walkin Procedure:
Walk-in-Interview will be held on 22nd June 2016 at 10:30 AM at Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Garacharma, Port Blair. Candidates should bring their original and attested copies of certificate of all documents supporting their educational qualification and experience at the time of Walk-in-Interview. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. The above position s is purely temporary and will be filled on contract basis. There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of the project. The PI of the project has sole right to terminate the staff if his performance is consistently below average or such other reason deemed to be fit. All eligible candidate are requested to be present 01 (One) hour before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director, CIARI, Port Blair will be final and binding in all respects
