John Deere – Linux BSP; ; Contingent Job Description : 4-10 years Knowledge of – Zero-configuration networking (zeroconf) technologies like Avahi or Bonjour is desirable. WiFi Configurations, Tethering, Hotspot would be added advantage. Packet based protocols such as TCP/IP (including protocols like DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, etc) is desirable. Skills to – C software design and development on LARGE project. Develop Embedded Software on Linux platform Socket programming Test driven development Ability to – Work Independently and lead team as required. Think analytically and be a problem solver. Debug and Solve field Issues in bench setup environment. Optional Nice to have Skills Fundamental understanding of modern router architecture. Fundamental understanding of 2G/3G/4G modems architecture. Python scripting CAN Protocol Technical requirement for ‘Networking
