- Job Description : The Chief Operating Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the Unit. As member of the core team, actively contribute towards accomplishing business strategy and performance of the company. The other responsibilities include the following: Timely execution of the Integrated Vaccine Project ensuring high quality standards. Obtaining statutory approvals and clearances for the Integrated Vaccine Project. Project Management: Negotiations, Finalization & Award of Tenders & contracts, Management of Consultants and Contractors, Management of Inter-disciplinary project issues, Co-ordination between key project stake holders, Progress Monitoring etc. Develop and establish operating policies consistent with the CEOs broad policies and objectives and ensures their adequate execution. Develop and establish adequate and equitable personnel policies throughout the organization, including compensation policies and employee benefit plans. Establish performance goals, allocate resources and assess policies. Motivate and lead a high performance management team. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plan for the growth objectives of the organization. Participate in the development and preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives. Direct internal operations to achieve budgeted results. Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies. Essential Years of Post Qualification Experience (Years) : 15
- Post Qualification Experience : Minimum 15 years post qualification experience in Manufacturing Industry preferably in Vaccine / Biological Science / Life Experience from Science / Bio-Technology Industries with hands on experience in Operation / Production / QC / Sales & Marketing out of which minimum 7 years should be in a senior managerial position. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Ability for timely execution of Projects Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, HR and strategic planning. Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external customers Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure. Ability to lead, plan and manage change Ability to lead and motivate high performing workforce. Ability to work independently with lean support team. Go-getting attitude with high personal and professional values.
