The candidate should have guided a team of professionals in designing a web-based software system and have extensively worked in Networked Linux environment with good
experience of at least one open-source languages (php/java). Python knowledge is desirable.
The candidate should have expertise with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL server). Working knowledge of big data technologies and ERP’s will be appreciated.
At least two years experience as a Manager in an academic institute or commercial establishment is required. The partial list of the activities includes: managing stakeholder expectations, procurement & vendor management, hardware infrastructure and network management, organizing the IT help desk and managing the support team, design and implement software/network/hardware architecture thereby ensuring application uptime and security of applications & data.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Compensation is very competitive and as per industry norms.
