Job Summary – Job Summary :
The role is responsible for leading the Legal function within the Group. Providing regular legal advice to internal customers and ensuring adherence to all legal norms in day to day running of the organization is critical to the role.
Key Accountabilities :
1. Responsible for providing legal advice to all the departments within the group and ensure adherence to all compliance issues
2. Ensure timely and error free drafting of all agreements / contracts with external vendors/ contractors as per the compliance and legal norms. Vet all Agreements that the group enters into.
Oversee settlement of Legal disputes
3. Liason with government agencies for obtaining approvals for inter – corporate loans and investments
3. Design and implementation of Legal Compliance mechanism across the Group
4. Define and ensure adherence to control mechanisms for ensuring error free documentation-
5. Compliance
o 100% compliance to FSSAI standards
o 100% compliance to all statutory requirements and liaise with governmental and non governmental authorities.
o 100% compliance to QHHSSEMCCITC across the DC
5. Taking Care of Insurance portfolio for all the Group Companies
6. Protection of Trademark / Copyrights : Identification of Trademarks required to be protected. Application of new trademarks. Handling trademarks / copyright disputes as and when they arise
