Responsibilities:
– Orient channel strategies and tactics towards differentiated value propositions commensurate with higher margins and better customer retention amongst channel partners
– Compliance of zone Channel Partners for products all the parameters of service expected from Channel Partners
– Framing and implementing all company policies for the Channel Partner Network ensuring corporate compliances and driving corporate policies for the Channel Department.
– Developing a consistent and effective communication plan to keep the Channel Partners abreast of the latest developments and activities in the Network including the periodic roll-out of new policies and procedures. In this regard working closely with Marketing Communications team to develop impactful specific marketing materials for channel partners focused on differentiated value creation propositions.
– Creating win-win relationship with channel partners. Focus on maintaining close strategic association with regional significance.
– Planning and designing the training and development objectives of the Channel Team, the Channel Partners and their employees in conjunction with the Learning and Development Department
– Actively participate in the new product development process by discovering unmet market needs to create differentiated solutions which would help Channel Partners grow their business
– Coordinating with all departments including IT, Accounts & Finance, and Operations as well as senior management resources, in order to meet channel partner performance objectives and channel partners- business expectations.
– Management of the brand with Channel Partners including setting and implementing the parameterized guidelines for the internal and external branding of all channel partner premises as well as usage of branded T-shirts, Bags, ID Cards, etc., for their Pick-up & Delivery Staff.
– Periodic review of the Channel Team to measure the progress in meeting the objectives of business growth and service performance
Skills Required:
– Strong written communication & presentation skills
– Possessing all the qualities of a good orator with experience of public speaking
– Superior interpersonal and relational skills
– Demonstrated senior leadership capabilities with ability to handle a large diversified team
– Technically sound in using computers with proficiency in using Office Software, particularly for managing presentations and spreadsheets
– Ability to analyze diverse data related to sales and service performance of channel partners and to derive actionable strategies based on the analysis
– Ability to travel extensively across the zone
Qualifications:
– MBA from a Reputed Management Institute with a Specialization in Marketing or Business Development would be preferred
Experience:
– Minimum 8+ years experience in an organization with a large distribution footprint and channel business with atleast 5 years of experience in a channel management
– Experience in channel development and customer oriented, value creation modeling is relevant
– Male /Female candidate may apply.
– Prior experience with an FMCG/Telecom/Banking organization with a channel sales role will be given preference
Compensation Package: 10-15 lakhs.:
