West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) releases notification for the recruitment of various vacancies of Meteorological Assistant in the Directorate of Agriculture under Department of Agriculture, Govt. of West Bengal. Candidates can apply on or before 24-05-2016 by 4:00 PM.

Pay Scale PB-2 Rs. 5400-25200 + GP(Rs. 2900/-)
Qualification Higher Secondary Examination pass or Uchcha Madhyamik Examination in the Science stream with Mathematics and Physics having at least 50% marks in Science subjects or with Geography (Pure) as one of the subjects having at least 50% marks.
Application Fee
i) Rs. 20/- for SC/ST category and Rs. 220/- for all other candidates.
ii) Fee payment should made online through payment gateway using Debit Cards/ Credits Cards/Net banking of any bank or through Tathya Mitra Kendra.
How to Apply
i) Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the website: www.wbssc.gov.in.
ii) Candidates can also submit their forms through Tathya Mitra Kendras.
iii) Applicants are required to upload scanned photograph and copy of signature while filling application.
iv) After successfully submission, applicants must note down the registration number generated by system.
v) Take print copy of application form for future reference.
Selection Method Competitive Examination
Notes
- The age relaxation will be given as per rules.
- Applications after the due date received will not be consider.
- Wrong/incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
- No exemption of fees is available to the SC/ST/BC-A/BC-B candidates of other states.
