– 10 to 12 Years of experience in SQL Server Production and Non Production Database Administration Skills
– Experience working on SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2012 and Knowledge of SQL Server 2014
– Should have experience working with development and systems teams to perform application and database tuning
– Proficient in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity.
– Knowledge of Maintaining Resource Consistency and Server Configuration consistency across all environments of SQL
– Experience in SQL Migration Planning and DR planning
– Experience in CDC, Data Masking and Powershell
– Experience in Virtualization and troubleshooting clustering
– Troubleshooting knowledge of Stored Procedures directly with Application Owners for Performance improvement
– Must have experience in Replication, Virtualization, Log shipping, Disaster Recovery , High Availability, Automation Scripting and Clustering
– Experience in planning, designing and implementing Application Releases/Deployments and troubleshooting application job failures
– Working knowledge on SSRS/DTS and SSIS
– Must have Microsoft DBA certification
– Should Possess a good technical background with an ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams (server administrators, storage administrators, client application developers, etc)
– Good oral and written communication skills – must be comfortable communicating with technical peers and customers
– Personal Commitment to stay with latest technology updates
– Resource should be ready to work in 24/7 support environment
– Resource should have experience in contributing to the development, documentation and implementation of database standards or guidelines.
