- Responsibilities & Duties :
- Accurate and timely data input, calculation, review, negotiation and settlement of lay-time (demur-rage and dispatch) activities associated with the client trades in accordance with instructions for Round Voyage Team.
- Drive continuous improvement through analysis, reporting, proactive process improvement, and contract content management to maximize demur-rage recovery.
- Review applicable terms of Charter Party, Contract of Affreightment and other Commercial Agreement and prepare the accurate lay-time assessment, invoice and arrange the settlement and collection of any demur-rage/dispatch.
- Handle, or participate in, as required, any negotiation of final settlement of lay-time.
- Calculating the lay time (demur-rage and dispatch) activities on a timely basis.
Good understanding of contractscharter parties and key laytime/demurrage provisions and the terminology associated with regard to bulk and petroleum industry
