Sr. Engineer IBS – iBwave
Job Description:
· RF design, installation and optimization of In-Building Access solutions including DAS, Wi-Fi, Small cells.
· Site Survey & Submission of Survey & Design reports
· Designing IBS for Office buildings, Stadiums, Parks,
· Hospitals, Hotels, Casinos, Airports, Subway transit systems and Casinos, Airports, Subway transit systems and and Convention centers.
· Wide experience across Repeaters, DAS, Spider cloud, POE, Small cell solutions.
· Understanding of standard BOM and cost structure associated with various supply solutions.
· Define design guidelines for high performing and low cost In-building access solutions.
· Review designs proposed by vendors; Own the cost per bit delivered via IBS deployments.
· Manage and develop engineering team to meet the demands of design engineering performance, delivery, and technology.
· Drive cost reduction projects ensuring reduction in Lead time and improving Quality.
Co-ordination and interacting with all cross functional teams.
· Provide feedback to OEM’s on customer problems and needs.
Technical skills:
· Equipment and devices from various vendors (active + passive) –
Mobile Axcess, Commscope, CSI, Ericsson ,Huawei, Samsung, IBS related equipment’s features & critical parameters
· Challenges and opportunities for IBS configuration –
· Link budgets for IBS over SISO & MIMO configuration
· Call drops solution by IBS
· Inter/Intra handovers with outdoor macro network
· Integration with outdoor macro network
· Power control in IBS
· capacity issues in IBS
· VSWR concept in IBS
· Through Knowledge on GSM, UMTS & LTE networks and network KPI’s
· Thorough knowledge on Telecom Equipments & Components.
· Hands on experience on iBwave tool & network planning tools
· Knowledge on exposure on drive test and walk test tools
· Hands on experience in IBS Planning , Design and Optimization
· KPI’s –
· Various important performance indicators for IBS technology
· IBS Technology –project related issues addressing
· Reports generation and operators oriented data analysis
· Case wise analysis of various practical scenarios faced in projects
· IBS design and layouts preparation, IBS deployment
· Configuration of DAS attaching with existing network (SISO & MIMO configuration)
Education Qualification : Any Graduate/BE/BTECH/MCA/MBA/Msc
