Technical Writers are responsible for producing high quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our Products and thereby adds value to the Company’s Knowledgebase. You would join a team of Technical Writers who work collaboratively with the Support Techs, Developers, SME’s, Product Testers, Release Engineers and also the Product Implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Work with the internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
· Researching and gathering the information required.
· Organising the information as per the user’s needs.
· Produce high quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
· Analyze existing and potential content, focussing on reuse.
· Create and maintain the information architecture.
Job Specifications
· Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
· Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in texts and pictures.
· Good Product Knowledge.
· Excellent written skills in English.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
· Knowledge in HTML and Basic SQL would be an added advantage.
