STAFF PLANNING ENGINEER

Education Qualification: Bsc. Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with Maintenance background
Years of Experience: 8 years of work experience
English Level: 8 years of work experience

Technical Qualification:Plans and prepares in consultation with operations personnel the major and shut down maintenance tasks in the plant for electrical, instrument, mechanical and civil works, ensuring due prioritization as per jobs risk Matrix.

Others: Working knowledge of CMMS (eAMS or SAP) and scheduling software for work planning, works towards producing standards templates for work orders, work plans.

Technical or Job Related Requirements:

• Good command of planning work process cycle with CMMS (eAMS or SAP) and scheduling software knowledge

• Develop & maintain master plan for major overhaul projects

• Develop & maintain detailed schedules for major overhaul projects to the equipment including development of WBS structure, critical path, layouts, activity codes, resources loading and analysis including resources histograms.

• Develop & maintain major Project Control tools for tracking and analyzing project progress against agreed baseline schedules in order to ensure the major overhaul project is completed timely, safely & on budget (forecasts, progress s-curves, manpower histograms and detailed progress measurement per activity per discipline).

• Generate weeklymonthly update on short term schedule (16w) and long term schedule (72w) for major overhaul projects.

• Generate weekly updated detailed plan for ongoing major overhaul projects.

• Control the material required for major overhaul projects, generate min/max and order the material for each major overhaul projects.

• Develop & maintain all plant shutdown plans, generate detailed integrated schedule for shutdown from start to end including all activities for all disciplines and show the critical path and resources needed as well as controlling material required.

• Prepares regular status reports and management information data on maintenance performance, shutdowns, resource utilization etc.
