The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all Air Freight, Sea Freight Export & Import, Customs Brokerage & Overland activities including staffing and training. In addition responsibilities include price negotiation and Business Development

• Responsible to manage and supervise the operations team and to ensure day-to-day operations include inbound operations and/or correspondences with key customer.

• Responsible for Air freight, Sea freight, Customs Brokerage.

• Review, improve and standardize work processes and procedures to improve efficiency of the team.

• Arrange and coordinate all import and export shipping matters according to clients’ requirements.

• Coordinate with various shipping and internal warehouse operations to support timely receipt and delivery of shipments to customers.

• Negotiate with Suppliers/ Vendors / Contractors for the Contractual rates and services & products

• Manager key customers’ feedback or complaint management and foster and maintain client relationships.

• Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.

• Update and negotiate contractors’ pricing, e.g. freight and handling rates.

• Responsible for fulfilling orders and generate reports.

• Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely and accurate billing and costs are charged.

• Ensure highest levels of Customer Service.
