CA with at least 20 years post qualification experience. An additional qualification as CMA or MBA would be an added advantage. Key responsibility areas will include:
- Responsible for organization wide accounting and finance operations and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
- Interacting with Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors and leading discussions, resolutions of issues
- Ensuring adherence to risk control matrix
- Interaction with financial institutions for funding, both long and short term and preparing necessary documentation
- Confirm financial planning for the operations/ budgetary overview
- Secure and effectiveness of proper internal controls.
- Actualise MIS and review thereof
Candidates must have spent at least the last 5 years in manufacturing and must have exposure to latest changes in all laws, especially indirect and direct taxes. The incumbent will be leading a team of over 40 people in the domain
Candidates must be exposed to SAP, VB SQL. Should be adept at and comfortable working in an IT environment as all financial data is processed electronically. Must be a team leader and player. Integrity needs to be unquestionable with high business acumen.
