Job Description
To be part of Group Insurance Business Finance team supporting Group Insurance CFO.
Responsible for performing analysis using existing/ new financial models and provide strategic support to RBWM Insurance.
Prepare various financial packs and provide commentaries on financial and commercial performance of Group and Countries/Sites.
Responsible for research, perform and present moderate to complex financial analysis, work with business partners to develop financial assumptions and explain rationale for conclusions
Required to prepare and analyze operating plans
Research and analyze financial data and provide summary analysis
Prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed, prepare written presentation of financial analysis ensuring reasoning for conclusions
Acquire understanding and handle processes using process methodology as applicable
Manage/Oversee multiple complex business initiatives, ad-hoc projects for business units
Ensure MI and other business data requirements are completed timely
Issues/Problems are investigated and resolved or escalated appropriately
Identify opportunities for process re-engineering / improvement

Skills/Experience Required
B Com / M Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CWA Inter with minimum 3-5 years overall experience in Finance with 2-3 years of experience in working with FP&A of Insurance companies.
Experience in financial reporting tools, including hands-on experience in financial analysis and review (E)
Experience in preparing operating plan, financial modelling, trend analysis, profitability analysis and valuation
Progressive financial and/or business analysis experience, financial statement analysis experience preferred
Ability to understand numbers and their impact drive
Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills – Ability to interact with multiple business partners
Possess good analytical skills, statistical skills to study trends
Should have demonstrated problem solving ability and have proven organizational, project management skills
Self-driven, with ability to lead and work within team
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) technical bent of mind
High level of analytical skills and ability to grasp complicated functions in short period of time and transfer knowledge appropriately and document
Ability to manage the service delivery of a designated process
Robust experience in planning and organizing work in a global environment
Should be flexible to stretch and work across shifts
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills are mandatory, as are good tact and diplomacy, as the role requires relationship management with other individuals and teams within the Group
