– Provides quantitative insights into the Audit assignment for financial models based on his/her field of experience (which can be valuation of derivative products or market risk management for investment banking, liquidity models for ALM, regulatory models, granting statistical models for retail banking or capital solvency for insurance)
– Participates to identifying and assessing risks by focusing on identifying major causes and contributes to the model part of the diagnosis and time budget
– Is in charge of writing the thematic opinion or focus relative to models and defines improvement axes, issues recommendations and contributes to following up their implementation
– Elaborates the diagnosis (selective analysis of risk areas, definition of the methods and the work program, elaboration of the time budget)
– Leads the assignment team from time to time
– Is the main interlocutor of the heads of the audited department and ensures, all through the assignment, a good communication with auditees (progression of the assignment, observations and difficulties met)
– Makes end-of-assignment reports
– Is responsible for following up recommendations issued by the assignment
Requirements:
– CFA/ FRM/ MBA qualification
– 5-7 years of exp in modeling & pricing of financial instruments
– Experience of valuing market products/ derivatives/ fixed income bonds/etc.
– Some audit experience will be preferred, but if not, candidate should be willing to move into audit space for modeling
– Excellent communication since the person will be working very closely with the global teams
– High on confidence & mature enough to handle dealing with global stakeholders
– The job will require frequent trips abroad
