Generating collateral reports (daily, fortnightly and monthly) for members, internal consumption, other departments and/or downstream systems
Physical Verification of collaterals on periodical basis.
Conducting Bank runs and providing funds report for internal consumption, other departments and/or downstream systems
Processing the confirmations of collateral received from banks and updating the same in the system
Maintenance of masters with respect to members, clearing banks, approved banks, custodians, collaterals and physical settlement
Generating the settlement calendar for all the futures contracts due to expire each month.
Ensure all the application softwares deployed in the process of clearing and settlement are in conformance of the requirement and are efficient and effective.
Maintenance of operating parameters to ensure the functioning of the application softwares responsible for settlements
Provide user requirement and business rule (parameters) for the application software in relation to settlement procedure and collateral management system
Ensure settlement of all funds obligation for Daily as well as final settlements and coordinating with the clearing banks for this purpose. Monitoring and controlling the daily operational functions such as earmarking of funds lying in Members clearing accounts, debiting members accounts for pay-in and crediting members account for pay-out, debiting members account for deposits, margins, or any other amount to fulfill settlement obligations
Ensure that the collateral placing/withdrawal requests received from the members are processed immediately and benefits thereof are provided with minimum possible time delay.
Ensure the best practice in the industry is followed in every process and constantly updated to match up changing needs of the market participants.
