Position – MEP Head based at Regional office Mumbai

Experience – 18+ years of experience (Preference will be given to the profiles from core construction companies)

Qualification – Full time BE Mechanical/Electrical is must.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Reviewing RFPs and Tender documents, Specifications, Basis of Design and drawings so as to determine the scope of work and required contents to prepare accurate and efficient materials and labor estimates on all project stages and project related works.

2. Preparation/review of Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, firefighting & HVAC related technical queries to be sent to the Client for pre-bid meeting.

3. Maintaining Cost database of various MEP services like Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, firefighting & HVAC items and ensuring the periodic updating of the data maintained in the section.

4. Technical & Commercial analysis of the quotation with respect to exclusions, assumptions & deviations.

5. Negotiating with suppliers & sub-contractors to obtain most competitive quotes.

6. Design & costing support for ongoing projects whenever required with Project management & Electrical Plumbing, firefighting, HVAC design team.

7. Update of MEP vendor list, price list, contractor list in regular intervals in our library.

8. Prepare and review all MEP BOQ quantity and rate analysis of projects.

9. Review of shop drawings and materials submittals of MEP Nominated contractor for compliance with project requirements and forwarding to consultants

10. Site visits for supervision and monitoring the progress of MEP Nominated Contractor

11. Attending Work Progress Review Meetings with the Consultants/Clients and related correspondence

12. Review & ensuring of MEP clearances for civil & related works

13. Attending commissioning, testing and handing over meetings

14. Review of O & M Manuals and As-Built Drawings of MEP services and forwarding to consultants
