The candidate would be responsible for carrying out day to day medical billing activities
including charge entry, obtaining pre-certification, payment posting etc. He/she may be required
to review claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met. During payment
posting, the candidate is required to determine and apply correct adjustments. He/she would be
expected to answer inquiries and update accounts as necessary. The candidate will be expected
to handle denials by submitting appeals, responding to carrier inquiries for processing of the
claim.:
