I am writing to you with regards to a job opportunity in a general insurance industry for Recovery Manager – Legal for Lucknow/ Jodhpur/ Bangalore/ Pune location.

Please find the below Job description:

Designation: Recovery Manager – Legal

Reporting to: Regional / State Legal Manager

Job Location: Lucknow/ Jodhpur/ Bangalore/ Pune

Key Responsibilities:

1. Once there is a defense of a case; he should start working on the recovery aspects e.g. Build a structured process around each problem statement, etc.

2. File an execution petition in the tribunal through an advocate

3. Procure a decree in favor of the petitioner and also work towards tracing the Judgment Debtor – Hereinafter to be referred as “JD” in case if the JD is not traceable.

4. Work on traceability either through appointing retainers or recruiting recovery firms post internal clearances

5. Go along with the tehsildar to effect final recovery if found necessary

6. Manage book of accounts on total recovery done as against targeted recovery each month

7. Furnish monthly reports on expense vis-à-vis earnings – Follow the revenue model

8. Work with the salvage team on auctioning the attached property through a fair deal mechanism

Key Requirements:

Education: LLB / LLM

Experience: Minimum of 3 Years in preferably asset recovery – Skip Tracing – Home loan recovery – Property Matters – Filing injunction suits – Filing cases under land recovery – Worked with government recovery agencies.
