Associate Professional : Product Test who is havig skiills on Test Automation or can be trained on that, technology-oriented, forward-thinking individual, with entrepreneurial spirit.The main part of the job will consist of the following:• Automate the Test Cases for Lorenzo Product Key member of Agile Scrum team and lead in adopting agile programming techniques, such as test-driven development, continuous integration and testing, and story-based iterative development to build better software and to build software in a better way. •Be a critical thinker – people who can rapidly consume domain knowledge and determine comprehensive, meaningful tests based on close collaboration with our Product Managers and industry experts. •Test analyst are part of the process with product managers and developers from the beginning and work in partnership to make sure that the code is high quality at all times rather than tested at the end. •We place a high value on upfront test scope definition capturing test conditions and finding issues based on an educated awareness of both specific requirements and customer’s expectations. Testers partner with development, giving continual feedback and working together to improve automated test coverage.•We have a work environment that encourages individual initiative, experiments with new ideas for continuous improvement, and lets great people do great work by minimizing the hassles of hierarchy and bureaucracy.•We look for well-rounded engineers with great analytical skills, enthusiasm for taking ownership of features, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to work closely and communicate effectively with developers and product managers.•Must be a self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision while working in a diverse team environment following Agile processes for software development. Investigate and propose opportunities for continuous improvementsKey Responsibilities•Work closely with Product Management and development engineers to understand features and create robust comprehensive test plans/cases to verify functionality•Do exploratory testing and acceptance of new features as part of a story-driven Agile development process•Develop automated tests in partnership with developers for continuous regression testing. Hands on experience to test automation tools is a must (e.g. QTP)•Identify bugs through systematic testing, help developers reproduce errors, and ensure that defects are fixed•Participate throughout the design and development process, analyzing features to point out weaknesses or inconsistencies•Must have basic technical skills, such as an ability to understand basic SQL syntax for checking results in a database or editing XML configuration files.•Very good ability to deliver technical artifacts on time with high quality•Ensuring Test Case Preparation, Execution and Reporting as per the defined KPIs•Perform Feasibility study and estimations for Testing •Perform Regression and Functional Tests •Using existing tools and techniques to execute Test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function•Ensuring usage of defect Tracking, status reporting tools as required for the project•Timely escalation of issues to the reporting manager. •Understand Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven development)•Self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast paced environment including multiple platforms.Additional skills/Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MUST)•Should have 3-7 years of Product Testing related experience •Prior experience in Health care is big plus•Clear understanding of Test Development life cycle•Knowledge in preparing, and conducting test reviews preferable•Familiarity with test management suites •Experience / Knowledge in HP Quality Center •Good Hands on QTP / Selenium•Exposure to testing Mobile platforms (Android/iOS) is an added advantage.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Ability to work in a cross cultural team with multi geographical locations. •Experience of liaising extensively with external (onsite) or internal clients•Certification in quality assurance & exposure to BDD/TDD methodologies is an added advantage.•Passion for quality assurance extends beyond working hours.•Keep abreast of industry developments on testing vertical
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Five or more years of quality assurance testing or programming experience
- Experience working with testing methodologies and software testing tools
- Experience working with programming to understand product line software
Other Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to analyze data, identify and assess problems in program and test program modifications and enhancements
- Good communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and support personnel and explain methodologies and test results
- Good presentation skills to present test results to individuals and groups
- Good personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
