Job Description
The successful candidate will be manage Financial Control staff whose responsibilities include:
– Product accounting for listed derivative products (futures and options)
– Reconciling and reporting the trading accounts and financial accounts for the Global Markets Listed Derivatives Business
– Analytical review of the trading balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
– FX exposure management, sell-off and reporting
– Bespoke accounting entries, e.g. German GAAP and structured trades
– Management reporting of key performance indicators and key risk indicators
– Substantiating the trading balance Sheet
– Regulatory accounting submissions & disclosure
– Supporting new product approval process
Experience / Exposure
– Relevant experience in Financial Control, Product Control or related function
– Business or mathematical based degree with professional accounting qualification
– Problem solving and analytical skills
– Strong leadership and management skills, able to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organization
– Previous exposure to senior level decision-makers and stakeholders and strong Stakeholder Management skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language)
Education / Certification/ Skills
– Degree level and/or relevant practical experience
