Responsibilities Include:
Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the company platform with the perspective from front end to optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Design and develop either from scratch or adapt to the existing website software and graphics packages (in HTML/HTML5, CSS, JS, JQ, SQL, Angular JS) to meet business requirements in the Agile work environment. Perform unit level troubleshooting and testing before releasing for formal QA
Influencing product teams and the organization to achieve solutions that are right for our customers
Proven effectiveness working in cross-??functional teams that include product management, engineering, sales to create innovative user experiences for new and extended product offerings
Contribute at individual level in coding and development of website modules (Yes, you will be hands on coding at company), integration with backend modules, API integrations, integration with third party apps / platforms
Creating task analyses, information architectures, user interaction models, wire frame screen flows, prototypes, and guidelines with little direction
Adhering to timelines / schedules and quality parameters. Maintain proper records of the design and implementation in the technical specification document
Work closely with the Product Manager extending full support in achieving the common goal in the best interest of the project and the Company
Continually look for opportunities to improve the platform, process and business
Server deployment and website updates, circulating release notes based on the updates done
Requirements Include:
Ability to work in fast paced, growth mode startup environment. Ready to roll sleeves, do-??what-??ever-??needs-??to-??be-??done attitude, work beyond 9 to 6 mindset, hands-??on approach to lead by example and showcasing the sense of ownership.
Overall 3-??5 years of industry experience with minimum 3-??years hands-??on development experience in Angular JS, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Java Script, JQuery, MySQL and Unix. Experience in SQLite, AWS, RDS, Nginx, Git, SVN is an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years hands-??on experience in web application requirements analysis, Application design, process driven development, code review, unit testing, documentation, engineering updates reporting and release is all must for this role
Develop cross-??browser, cross-??platform, and/or cross-??device applications using CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and Angular JS
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
Proficient understanding of client-??side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems ensuring no compromise on the website and its performance
Work in an agile environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life
The candidate will have strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate, defend and document design decisions and work with a distributed team.
A go-??getter and proactive member working in the best interest of the project, identifying development process and team improvement opportunities, deployment of new practices and ideas, result oriented experimenting with new tools and technologies to improve platform and overall productivity.
Computer Engineering degree is not must, education is no bar, dropouts are most welcome
