Advertisement for the post of Project Assistant under SERB-DST Start up Research Project (YSS/2014/000155) Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Project Assistant on a temporary contractual basis for a project titled “Structural and chemical properties of interfaces of Si/glass based metal/metal oxide thin films for solar cell applications“, funded by SERB-DST under the supervision of Dr Umananda M Bhatta, Centre for Emerging Technologies, Jain University, Karnataka.
- Number of positions available: One
- Essential qualification: M. Sc (Physics) 2nd class with minimum of 55% marks
- Desirable qualification: NET qualified candidates will be given preference, Specialization in solid state physics / Material Science, Knowledge of Electron microscopy, nanomaterials, Programming Knowledge in C/Fortran, familiarity with Linux operating system
- Fellowship: INR 16000 per month + 10% HRA
- Duration of the project: 3 years
