Job Location: Khopoli, Raigad

Role & Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities included but not limited to:
A. Reporting:
1. The GM is responsible / escalate to / seeks advice from the MD-CEO for the strategizing and driving business management initiatives and the overall management and the administration at the resort
B. Responsibilities:
1. Overall control of the general management of resort
2. Plan and achieve resort’s profit, turnover and growth targets as per plan and within the corporate guidelines
3. Plan, direct and lead the resort into new business areas and convert the corporate vision and mission into reality
4. Define and direct corporate planning at the strategic level
5. Strategize, plan, manage and inculcation of new product and service in resort offering based on best practices and competitive landscape
6. Plan, direct and monitor corporate level financial needs
7. Ensure resort’s infrastructure needs are met and maintained at all levels
8. Provide the high-level business plan
9. Build and establish resort philosophy, culture and ethics
10. Formulate and monitor resort policies and framework
11. Oversee at a high-level, the implementation of effective Systems and procedures within the organization
12. Recruit, develop, motivate, monitor and control the key human resources in the resort
13. Report the progress of the resort to the Board of Directors, involved and stakeholders (affected departments / functions / people)
14. Act as the final arbitrator for any disputes within the resort
15. Co-ordinate with other directors in the resort and keep them updated / appraised on business scenario of the resort periodically
16. Succession planning for the role
17. Formulate and provide directions to the core team
18. Oversee business development activities of the resort
19. Liaison and maintain relationship with statute bodies industry vertical heads
20. understanding local community issues and building relationships with local government and external partners
21. Maintain an adequate resort structure and staffing in line with the Business plan of the resort
22. Manage the overall affairs of the resort, including budgeting, staffing, monitoring, etc.
23. Manage and be responsible for the performance of resort staff, as also their skills building and career development activities
C. Authority:
1. Approve resort level plans
2. Approve resort policies and framework

Knowledge of principals and accurately follow in day-today process by providing quality standards of services.
Fruitful communication skills and ability to come-up with clever ideas to solve problems and develop creative way of up-selling products.
Confident in Public Relation and to react as per situation demanding.
