JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for all FINANCE & ACCOUNTS functions of the Branch and compliance with requirements of Head Office
A) Accounting functions –
• All accounting functions in preparing full set of accounts (Monthly schedules in supporting each month end financial statements (both BS and P&L)
• Monthly accounts verifications & reconciliation (including banks, customer, suppliers statements & other reconciliations)
• Financial and management reports /Various financial analysis
B) Taxation functions – – Handle corporate income tax, TDS, ST, CST, VAT, VAT TDS computation / verification and filing respective returns /liaise with tax AUTHORITIES to ensure compliance with tax regulatory requirements
C) Control functions –
• Internal controls / external and internal audit)
• Profit and loss /CASH FLOW forecast on monthly basis
D) Statutory reporting – In addition to management reporting,
• Prepare statutory reports and their relevant filings required by regulations and law
• Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
E) PREREQUISITS:
• A qualified chartered accountant of India OR ICWA
• Knowledge in job costing, cash-flows are essential
• High proficiency in MS Excel
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience, including 2 years hands on relevant experience in similar FUNCTIONS as Assistant Finance Manager / finance manager with supervisory roles
• Those with regional experience is added advantage
