Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known/unknown or suspected problems using various methods and testing instrument available in the workshop.
Disassemble electro-mechanical equipment and writing/noting all components/parts identification, configuration and condition on the data sheets.
Clean all components/parts prior for inspection & assembling and confer with the workshop supervisor if found any damage, missing, defective or discrepancy.
Operate specialized repair machine and /or testing equipment such as test panels, testers & instruments, bake ovens, grinders and other various hand held power and non-power tools.
Measure, check or note proper replacement parts/components and if any deviations found it shall be reported to QC technician or workshop supervisor for approval.
Ensure that all pertinent data and sketch you have written/made on the data sheets are correct, legible and understandable with the other personnel.
Responsible of proper arrangement and identification of dismantled parts/ components on the designated place or racks.
Reassemble with the new/repaired replacement parts/components and retest electro-mechanical equipment, and coordinate with the QC technician for proper output and operation.
Complete required paper works for each job accurately and on a timely basis.
Assist other technician or personnel in skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by workshop supervisor.
Keep area neat and clean for every end of the day/duty.
Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by the supervisor or shop manager.
Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gears.:
