Job Description:

*      Job Purpose:



1.    To ensure the organizational objectives and business benefits are achieved through


Ø  Design and deliver IT solutions in SAP Sales & Distribution – including  Sales Order processing, Pricing, Delivery, Inventory integration, logistics etc etc


Ø  Managing MTO & MTS scenarios


Ø  SD data (Master/transactional) preparation and migration during implementation/Rollouts . Oversee data correctness on regular basis.


Ø  Experience in implementation of SD workflow scenarios


Ø  Design  application for mobility scenarios in SD business process


Ø  Integration with other modules like MM,FI,CO, QM etc


Ø  Customised solution development


Ø  Report development with ABAP team members


2.    Secondary:


Ø   Deployment of IT for Ware house , logistics

Ø  Drive standard processes – manage change.


Ø  Build adequate controls and audit mechanisms into financial systems to restrict leakages and drive compliance.


Ø  Deliver automatic pricing with workflow based price approval


Ø  Ensure high system availability.


Ø  Ensuring data sanctity in the system


Ø  To drive Change management through user training and support on continuous basis, especially considering the attrition of Business users.


Ø  Providing competitive advantages through optimization of implemented processes, functionality enhancements in specialized areas and building a platform for Analytics.

*    Principal Accountabilities:


1.    Deployment of SAP and related solutions –


Ø Partner Maintenance and Project functions so that IT Projects are aligned to functional goals.


Ø  Enhancement of existing SAP SD functionalities


Ø  Clearly understand the overall/ business process requirements for current & future needs and map those business processes to application functionality.


Ø  Deliver projects within time & cost. 


Ø  Identify the risks involved in the projects (product. Functionality/ interface/ performance/ training) & plan for mitigation.


Ø  Deliver training for related solutions.


Ø  Interact with external vendors and system integrators to obtain best out of them and also facilitate their activities


Ø  Solutions on Tax and regulatory changes eg GST


Ø  Integration with Finance


Ø  Providing user friendly reporting solution to the users at various level in SD area


2.    Uniformity of processes across businesses:



 


Ø  To design the process so that they are uniform and yet do not compromise on the business specific requirements


3.    Process Enhancement / optimization with a view on realizing business benefits:



 


Ø  Establish the business requirements for current and future with a view to realizing business benefits.


Ø  To identify the functionalities / support applications or customizations that would help meet the aforesaid requirements


Ø  To identify the areas of present processes that falls short on its expectations or has scope for further improvements. To design and implement solutions for  such processes


4.     Business Application Implementation, Roll out and Support:


Ø  To prepare a “migration” plan – where required and setting up of responsibilities from IT Functions for each task involved.


Ø  To drive change management through user training and support


5.    People Management:         


Ø  Develop personal competencies and knowledge among vendor resources to deliver the required systems development and support needs.


Ø  To develop competencies and knowledge among identified Finance personnel from Business Function to monitor, track and realize the benefits of the rolled out processes.


Ø  Develop strong working relationships with respective users


Ø  Manage the attrition by creating a conducive & challenging environment.
