The Microsoft ecommerce team manages a rapidly growing online business, and currently has digital marketing programs in more than 50+ countries around the world. Not only does Microsoft offer consumers a compelling online destination to buy leading Microsoft products such as Surface, Xbox, PCs, and Office 365, Microsoft also recently launched apps, games, videos, music, and TV shows for sale online.
If you’re a digital marketer with ecommerce experience looking for a role that combines the excitement of driving growth and new business opportunity, paired with the fast paced challenges of optimizing in market ecommerce marketing programs, this may be the role for you.
This role is located in market, and requires experience and expertise in both (1) Affiliate Marketing program management and development, and (2) ecommerce marketing skills.
Affiliate program management is the core responsibility, driving profitable and rapid growth in the affiliate channels, managing day to day partner and network relationships, and identifying/developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities include;
– Manage all aspects of affiliate network, and individual affiliate relationships.
– Directly manage large affiliate partners to maximize business opportunity.
– Develop new business partnership affiliate opportunities with mobile operators, OEM’s, entertainment & content providers.
– Manage affiliate merchandising program development; banners, email, placements.
– Performance measurement, results reporting, and scorecard management on an ongoing basis.
In addition to managing all aspects of the affiliate program at the country level, support across general ecommerce marketing activities will be required, in partnership with the online store marketing team. Responsibilities include;
– Reporting on country level digital marketing activity across multiple tactics; SEM, SEO, Microsoft owned and operated sites (O&O).
– Localize as needed any global digital marketing activities across tactics including SEM, SEO, O&O.
– Collaborate with country level marketing and business groups to drive integration and identification of opportunities between the online store team and other MS teams.
– Support audience focused programs such as Student or Small-Medium Business.
Qualifications:
– Must have direct experience in managing affiliate marketing programs, ideally with an internet retailer, online music/content company, app or game developer, music or movie publisher.
– Ecommerce marketing experience
– Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
– A great collaborator with internal teams and partners.
– Strong communication, presentation, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Experience and Education:
– Bachelor’s degree required
– 5 to 10 years’ experience
