For this position, Candidate should be familiar with network protocols, network devices include network interface cards, switches and routers. You should feel comfortable of working with large-scale distributed systems — in managing the network infrastructure that supports the Azure Cloud infrastructure as well as well in designing and building the large-scale distributed systems that manage the network.
Role & Responsibilities:-
• Providing Technical Leadership for the Implementation of new and upgraded Data center Network with standard platforms on Network/Servers Technologies, carried out in compliance with best practices
• Candidate shall be capable of handling Projects from Design phase to Implementation phase and He/She understand the Network standards along with Strong automation skills
• Candidate shall collaborate with Internal Business units and Stakeholders and understand the requirements and deliver efficiently
• Automation: Participate in all efforts to automate repetitive tasks to reduce implementation time and to reduce percentage of failures due to human error
• Part of Weekly on-call rotation for Network Incident support and Someone who can work to quickly mitigate impacts and restore service availability through a software enabled toolset
• Providing technical oversight for capabilities that can only be integrated in pre-prod and prod environments, such as backup and restore.
Skills & Qualifications:-
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to represent complex technical concepts and issues to a geographically diverse audience are required.
• In-depth knowledge of modern Internet architectures and associated routing, switching, load-balancing, and security technologies are required.
• Multi-vendor networking hardware experience including Cisco ,Arista and Juniper is required; SLB/HLB experience considered a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with mainstream routing protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS is required; knowledge and experience with IPv6, VRF, l2vpn, considered a plus as would network port,
device, and bandwidth capacity monitoring & management experience.
• The ability to analyze existing processes and procedures and suggest/influence optimization and efficiency changes.
• Role requires deep troubleshooting skills with the ability to work with other engineers (often based in other countries) and equipment vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrated competencies as subject matter expert to large-scale strategic initiatives, programs, projects, with customers, peers, and leadership required.
• A logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to work with global teams as well as individually with minimum supervision
• Capability to multitask, and perform under pressure with changing priorities is essential to this role
• Good working knowledge of local and wide area networking
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills as they will be working with numerous teams within the global organization
Qualifications:-
• BA/BS in business, IT or related field
Experience Required:
• 5-6 Year experienced in Networking Industry or Large Scale Data center network
• Experience working with L2/L3 switching platforms, application networking and popular network protocols (STP, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, LACP etc
• Experienced on Large scale Data Center/Cloud environment, Understanding on passive components ( UTP Cabling, Optical cabling,SFP’s)
• Experience on network automation skills with Perl/Python/Power shell /XML programming languages
• Excellent communication skills and team player with ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions, both internally and externally.
• Must possess broad problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure when the situation is ambiguous
• Strong negotiation skills and conflict management skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
