Candidate Profile: 

Special Responsibilities: 

· Maintaining equipment for video production, broadcast and digital media 
· Setting up and monitoring audiovisual links between units in different locations 
· Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment 
· Setting up and operating editing and sound facilities in post-production suites 
· Analysing and repairing technical faults on post-production equipment and systems 
· Minimising loss of service when equipment fails by quickly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provision 
· Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages 
· Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards 
· Undertaking data network fault investigations in LAN & WAN environments, using information from multiple sources 
· Interpreting and implementing instructions and requests from producers, operations team and other colleagues 
· Communicating effectively with members of the team and other colleagues 
· Keeping up to date with the industry and changes in technology by building and maintaining a network of contacts and investigating new systems and techniques.
